How do I know if a provider is in-network?
Once you select a plan and enter a zip code, all the results shown will be in-network providers for the specific plan and geography you are searching. Many doctors have more than one office and, sometimes, not all locations are in the network. If you don’t see an office address on this list, the doctor may not be in-network at that specific location.
What should I do after I find a provider I want to visit?
When you find a doctor or facility that you want to visit, click on their name for more details. From there, you can view contact information and use that information to reach out to the office. It may help you be seen quicker if the provider has indicated they are accepting new patients. Some plans require you to get a referral from your Primary Care Provider (PCP), or prior authorization from the plan before receiving certain services. Please refer to your benefit plan information for any referral or authorization requirements.
Why am I not seeing any results for providers in my area?
If you are not seeing any results for providers in your area, you may need to adjust the search criteria you’re using. For more help, please reach out to your Care Coordinator.
Why is my provider no longer in-network? / What should I do if my provider is out-of-network?
There are many different reasons why your provider may no longer be in-network. If you find that your current provider is no longer in-network, your Care Coordinator is here to help you find a new source of care.
Can I visit a provider that is not listed here?
You can visit any provider that you want to, but what you pay for those services depends on the plan you have. In non-emergency situations, HMO plans don’t include out-of-network benefits. PPO plans do include out-of-network benefits, but you will most likely pay more than if you had visited an in-network provider. Please refer to your benefit plan information for cost sharing details or call your Care Coordinator for more information.
What should I do if I have questions about a provider?
Depending on the question you have, you might want to call the provider directly, or talk to your Care Coordinator. If you’re not sure where to start, feel free to give us a call at 1-833-502-20121-833-502-2012 (TTY: 711).
Disclaimer Limitations on telehealth services vary by state. These services are not a substitute for emergency care and are not intended to replace your primary care provider or other providers in your network. Other providers may be available in your network.
Many doctors have more than one office. However, not all of the doctors’ offices may be in our network. If you don’t see an office address on this list, the doctor may not be in-network at that location. If you have questions, call a Care Coordinator at 1-833-502-20121-833-502-2012 (TTY: 711) for network details.
